Acupuncture:
The insertion of fine, sterile, single-use, disposable, surgical grade stainless steel needles into the surface of the skin to send a message to the brain to relay a neurochemical response to the body. Your private acupuncture session may include most of the following services.
Community Acupuncture
It's just like regular acupuncture except you lie in a room with other people who are also receiving treatment. Each table is seperated by a curtian. Because you share the room with others, the cost is reduced! Each patient can choose between acupuncture or cupping.
Cupping
Cupping is used to loosen tight muscles and for pain relief. It promotes circulation of blood and lymph. Fire Cupping is not hot or painful, but it may leave a red or purple bruise and that is perfectly normal.
E-Stim/ Electro Acupuncture
Electro acupuncture refers to adding electrical stimulation to acupuncture needles which are in the body. The addition of the electrical current provides a stronger stimulus to the nervous system than the acupuncture needle alone. Electro acupuncture is particularly effectively for neurological conditions where there is damage to the nerves or other parts of the nervous system. So for conditions like stroke or spinal cord damage electro acupuncture may be more effective than needling alone. *Only offered by Stephen Sedita LAc
Tuina
Tuina is the chinese word for massage. Generally clothes are kept on and the massage pace is fast, but doesn't need to be. The massage is centered around acupoints and meridians with your health in mind.

Gua Sha
Gua Sha is the act of passing a tool along the surface of the skin to break up adhesions (knots) in muscles and tendons. It is also used to loosen them up when they are tight. Gua Sha may leave red or purple bruising as well. Gua Sha does not have to be painful, if you tell your acupuncturist that it hurts, they can use less pressure. Very gentle Gua Sha may be done to the face for facial rejuvenation.

Ear Seeds
Ear seeds are a seed or a small silver ball adhered to your ear by a sticker. Their job is to do acupressure, not acupuncture. Their effect is subtle, but they can be worn for 3-5 days, like little extended release tabs. They can help your treatment last longer and they are great for sleep, stress and focus.

Laser Acupuncture
For those of you who are needle phobic, Laser acupuncture is a great alternative! It is a way of providing acupuncture treatment without needles. Medical studies have shown laser acupuncture is just as effective as traditional acupuncture. Some feel a very slight warmth or tingling from the laser but most people don’t feel the laser at all. There are some limitations, but for the most part nearly any condition we treat with acupuncture can also be treated with laser acupuncture.

Facial Rejuvination
Let's rewind the clock together by lifting and tightening the neck and decolletage and reducing wrinkles. Sessions include acupuncture and facial guasha. Facial cupping and estim are options for special events. 6 sessions are recommended to see a remarkable difference, most people are happy with their results by 12 visits. Maintenece treatmetns are recommended for lasting effect.

Moxa
Moxibustion means heat therapy, but it is in reference to burning mugwort near the skin to treat digestive issues, joint pain, arthritis and menstrual pain. Moxa, as it is lovingly called, is good for sharp or stabbing pain and even immunity. The heat of the moxa penetrates deep into muscles and joints more so than the heat of a heating pad or hot shower.
